🌱 It’s so simple to create your own healthy nut butters at home, I would recommend having a high-speed blender or food processor if this is your thing, as it will make your job a lot easier & quicker! I love having a few different nut butters in the fridge at one time, there are so many combos to play around with & it’s the perfect way to add some healthy fats to your diet.

✖️ ABC & Chia Nut Butter ~
250g almond
100g brasil nuts
250g cashews
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp chia seeds
pinch of salt
.
Preheat oven to 180°C. Place all the nuts on a lined baking tray. Roast for about 7 mins or until slightly golden & fragrant, remove from oven & allow to cool slightly. Add all ingredients to your high-speed blender & blitz until consistency resembles a thinnish batter, mine took 14 minutes of actual blending time, but this time will very depending on the machine you’re using. Stop occasionally to scrape down the sides. Allow to cool completely before transferring to an airtight container or jar. Store in the fridge for up to 1 month.
Optional ~ For some extra crunch stir in a little extra chia seeds.
.
Serving Tips ~ perfect spread on toast or on sweet potato toast, on banana bread, mixed into or as a porridge topping, in baked goods, spread on pancakes or waffles, in smoothies/smoothie bowls, used to make homemade granola, in sauces or mixed with dairy free yoghurt etc.
